Day 1
Urumqi
Today you can arrange for your international flight to get to Urumqi. We will meet you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and check you in.
Day 2
UrumqiBurqin (700km,9-10hours driving)- Huoshao Mountain on the way to Burqin
After breakfast drive to Burqin County and enjoy the amazing view of the Multi-colored Bay, a marvelous desert scene which located at the western edge of the desert in Kalamah Nature Reserve. You will see a typical Yadan landform with shale of red, yellow, orange, green, green ash, gray and black.Along the journey, pass by: Huoshaoshan (Burning Mountain), where you will witness a sea of red, caused by burnt rocks that look as if they are still burning along the hills. Burqin County is located in the northernmost part of Xinjiang. Its county seat, which is called Burqin Town is situated at the confluence of the Irtysh and its right tributary, the Burqin River. Most of the county is within the Burqin River basin, which reaches into the Altai Mountains on Xinjiang's border with Mongolia and Russia., Check in hotel upon arrival. and in the evening you can go to the Burqin night market to enjoy the delicious local fish BBQ with the fresh beer, relaxing and appreciating the beautiful day.
Day 3
Burqin-Kanas (180km,4hours driving)- Our Travelers from America in Kanas Nature Reserve
After breakfast head to Kanas Nature Reserve, China's only European-like ecological site that has been awarded the title of the "Pure Land of the World" due to its unspoiled natural scenery. En-route, visit Irtysh Lake, the only lake in China that flows directly into the North Pacific Ocean, along with Burqin River, Kanas River, Wolong Bay, Moon Bay, Shenxian Bay and Cocoa Surrey Lake. Kanas Lake is like a string of pearls in the Alps as it branches into smaller river streams which look like a multitude of islands amidst the forests and grasslands. upon arrivall we will go to the Kanas lake directly before we check in hotel. Take the shuttle bus to the center of the reservation and enjoy the beautiful sight of Dragon bay and Moon bay. visit the fish-view pavilion and have a bird-view of the whole Kanas lake, you will see the Budda light if you are lucky enough with the great weather.
Day 4
KanasKaramay (600km,6hours driving)- The Moon Bay of Kanas Lake
After breakfast enjoy the sunrise and then we will head to Karamay. travel along the Gurbantunggut Desert to the Urho Ghost City, also known as Wuerhe Wind City", a unique wind-eroded geological area commonly referred to as "wind city" because of the frequent howling winds. Due to its eeriness, it is also commonly referred to as "Ghost City". Yardan is a word used by some scholars who explored the Lop Nur and later it became a topo. graphical term.Because of strong water corrosion and fierce wind erosion,a series of parallel ditches and ditch ridges have formed in the clay rock area, which look like“buildings'’and“alleys'’in the city.Therefore it is named“wind city” It is located northeast of Karamay city.Continue journey to Karamay City. The name of the city comes from the Uyghur language, and means "black oil", referring to the oil fields near the city. Since the city officially established for petroleum production in year 1955, it has become a modern integrated oil complex, a 'petroleum city' nowadayse. and tonight we will overnigh in the town named Baijiantan which is close to the Ghost city.
Day 5
KaramaySarym Lake (500km,7.5hours driving)- Our Malaysian Group in Guozigou Valley
In the early morning we will visit the Ghost city to enjoy the sunrise which is the ideal place for the travelers who is interested in the photograpjy and then continue our excursion tour to Sayram Lake, known as the last drop of tears of the Atlantic. This alpine lake is an amazing natural water resource which is circled by green grasslands. It is like a brilliant emerald inlaid in the basin surrounded by Tianshan Mountain. The water in the lake is very pure and clear. Flocks of ducks and swans coast on its surface. Flourishing cypress and cedar trees cover the whole mountain range. Cottages scatter the foothills of the mountains. Horses and sheep graze on the mountain slope. In the spring,summer and autumn the sapphire water of the lake seems to meet the sky in the distance.The pasture is a charming scene of flourishing trees,waving grass,and wildflowers that are reflected in the clear water of the lake.In the winter, snow falls and the water of the lake turns to ice.Only a Small portion of the lake can be seen in the vast whiteness of the ice and snow. and tonight we will overnight in the local wooden house which located in the vally of Guozigou (fruit valley)
Day 6
Sarym LakeNaraty (450km,8hours driving)- Yili(Guljia) Lavender Field
Morning to the capital of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture – Yining via Guojigou Valley. There are about 35 minorities that live and work in this city such as Han, Uygurs, Kazak, Hui, Mongolian, Uzbek, Russians, and more. Visit the Uyghur Culture Street in Yining and then Excursion tour to Naraty Grassland. The grassland has quiet streams, fresh air and abundant vegetation. It is home to a 10th of China's Kazakh community, and its rolling hills are dotted with their camps. The landscape is carpeted with wild flowers, upon which wander herds of goats, sheep and cowse. if your travel date is from 15th June to 20th July, we will drive to visit the Lavendor field on the way. It's such an enjoyment to imagine walking in the fields of bright purple and delicate mauve under a deep blue sky. Take a deep breath, experience the true scent and color of lavender, and feel lost in the stunning sight of the Plateau… we will arrive in Naraty in the late afternoon.
Day 7
NaratyBayinbuluk (80km,1hours driving)- Morning of Naraty Grassland
After breakfast visit the Naraty pastureland which was listed as a nature reserve.The No 218 National Highway runs across the Tianshan Mountains,along the north part of Nalat grassland.Furthermore, boasts sub-alpine belt, and it has been a famous pasture land ever since the ancient times,and there are wide river valley, high mountains,the crisscrossed deep gores,the flourishing forest and open grassland.It is crowned as“air pasture'’and“garden highway”.after lunch head to Bayinbuluk, covering an area of about 23,000 square kilometers and 2,500 above sea level,is the second largest grassland in China.Bayinbuluk means the“the abundant spring”in Mongolian language and enjoy the grassland there.taking up 1,000 square kilometers. In 1986 it was listed by the State as the national nature reserve.It is a paradise of flocks of swan. The swans are like white sails wandering on the lake,carefree and contenting themselves.Therefore it is offered the name"Swan Lake"
Day 8
BayinbulukKorla (400km,7hours driving)- The Road from Bayinbuluk to Korler
After breakfast we will drive along the edge of Tian shan Mountain to Korla, known as the "City of Pears" and the "City of Petroleum". It’s the capital city of the Bayingholin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture which is the largest prefecture in China, encompassing the eastern half of the Taklamakan Desert and extending to the borders of Tibet, Qinghai and Gansu Provinces. The fragrant pears produced in Korla are well-known in China for their sweetness and flavor.Visit the Iron Gate upon arrival and then Walking along the Peacock River after dinner to feel the local’s city lifestyle.
Tianshan Mountain, Although many peaks of Tian Shan Mountains are covered with snow all the year round, the mountain area under snow line is still abundant in animals and plant resources. Vegetation there is under rich diversity, including dense forest, green spruce, whirl pines and more than 80 species of medical plants, especially the most precious herbal medicine - Saussurea Involucrate. Being adapted to harsh climates of high altitude, it grows well on cliffs and in the clefts of rocks along the mountain.
Day 9
Korla Urumqi (500km,6-7hours driving)- Our Singapore Travelers in front of Iron Gate
After breakfast visit the Iron Gate Occupying a strategic position at the mouth of a precipitous gorge on the Konqi River in the north of Korla, the barrier was such a point that one must to pass through before coming into the Tarim Basin from the north. According to textual research, it was set up in Jin Dynasty. Because it is situated in a strategic point and difficult to access, the barrier is vividly called “Iron Gate Barrier”. and then head to Urumqi and visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar for free shoppine.Erdaoqiao Market & International Bazaar,The Erdaoqiao Bazaar is the largest in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine. On Sunday, there are more stalls and more goods to buy than any other day. The old streets around the bazaar are really worth seeing.Here is the most welcomed place by tourist especialy by ladies where they can buy some traditional yugur make up cosmetic.
Day 10
Urumqi your destination
