Xining- the Qinghai Lake
Our nice driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in the morning. Then we will head to visit Qinghai Lake Scenic Area. Qinghai Lake is the largest inland salt water lake in China. XiningGuide- the Ta'er Monastery
After breakfast, we will head to visit Ta'er monastery, which located 25 kilometers (15.53 miles) southwest to Xining City, the Ta'er Monastery is one of six famous monasteries in the Gelugpa Sect (also called Yellow Hat Sect) of Tibetan Buddhism. It is said to be the birthplace of Zongkaba (1357-1419), the founder of the Gelugpa Sect. The monastery is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Northwest China, and enjoys a high reputation in China and Southeast Asia. Afternoon, we will visit the Chinese Prayer Wheel, Designed according to the architectural style of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. It is the largest prayer wheel in the world.
