Today you will arrange your own flight to Xining. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel, check you in. Tomorrow you will start your tour in Xining.

- Ta'er Monastery
After breakfast, we will head to visit Ta'er monastary, which is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Northwest China, and enjoys a high reputation in China and Southeast Asia. Later on, we will head to our next stop Qinghai Museum, located at Xining city, is a provincial-level comprehensive museum of China, one of the historical sites under the protection of the province.
Ta'er Monastery: Located 26km south of the Xining city proper, the sacred Kumbum Monastery, or Ta'er Si, is the best of the sights in the Xining area. The ancient monastery, built during the 39th year (1560 AD) of the reign of emperor Jiajing of Ming Dynasty, boasts a Tibetan name, Kumbum, which means a grand place housing 100,000 Buddhas. The sight is most sacred due to the personages who have graced it with their presence. It was originally built upon the birth place of the founder of the Gelukpa Sect (Yellow Hat) of Tibetan Buddhism, Tsong Khapa.
Qinghai Museum: located at Xining City, is a provincial-level comprehensive museum of China. The Museum building used to be residence of Ma Bufang, a local warlord of Qinghai. At present the Museum, covering an area of 30,000 square meters with a floor space of 6.000 square meters, is one of the historical sites under the protection of the province.

- Qinghai Lake
Morning we are going to visit the Dongguan Mosque, which is the famous architecture in Xining ancient city. It is also one of the Great Mosque in the northwest of China. Then we will drive to Qinghai Lake and enjoy cycling, this is the largest inland salt water lake in China. It is no exaggeration to say that Qinghai Lake is a miracle that is endowed by a deity. Thereafter, continue to Cake Salt Lake, transfer to the hotel near the scenic spot. Have a good rest.
Qinghai Lake : lies northwest of the imposing Qinghai Altiplano, 150 km (93.21 miles) away from Xining in Qinghai Province. It reaches 28.71 m. (77.79 feet) at the deepest point but averages 19 meters (62.34 feet) overall. With an altitude of 3, 195 meters (10,482.28 feet), the climate surrounding the lake is very cool. Even in the middle of the summer, the average temperature in the daytime is about 15 C (59 F), which is why it is often selected as a summer resort.

Caka Salt LakeXining-
- Cake Salt Lake
Spend the morning exploring the Cake Salt Lake, Cake Salt Lake means “the sea of salt” in Mongolian. It lies in the center of Cake Basin, which was named by the national tourist geography magazine as one of the 55 places to go. Back to Qinghai Lake afterwards, lunch will be arranged and then we will do the trekking around the Qinghai Lake. In the afternoon go back to Xining, transfer to the hotel for rest.
Caka salt lake means “the sea of salt” in Mongolian. It lies in the center of Caka Basin, the south of Caka town. which is a scenic spot of combining the scenery tourism with industry tourism, For it belongs to a typical chloride salt lake. the salt crystal in Caka Salt Lake is big, pure and sweet-smelling. Now it is extracted with modern technological process and some new productions are developed such as iodine salt, cleaned salt, regenerated salt, zinc salt, refined salt and salt for domestic animals.

Day 5
XiningKanbula National Park-

Today we will meet you at the hotel lobby, then bus transfer to Kanbula National Park to visit. Kanbula is well-known for the magnificent unique Danxia landform. The landscape is mainly featured by wonderful peaks, precipitous, hills, caves, cliffs and many rock peaks, stone columns and stone walls. It is also a world of natural plants and a paradise of wild animals. In summer, visitors can enjoy the shade and cool breezes and in autumn they can view a sea of red leaves and immerse themselves in the most spectacular landscape. They appreciate not only the fresh and tranquil natural environment, but also the cultural inspiration drawn from the sites of the cultural interest.
Afternoon, we will go back to Xining for rest.
