Arrive at LanzhouToday You will arrange your international flight to get to Lanzhou. We will meet you at the airport. Then transfer you to the hotel and check you in. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2
Lanzhou- Bingling Thousand Buddha Caves
In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel in Lanzhou to start our journey today. Firstly, head to visit the Bingling Thousand Buddha Caves, these caves, which stretch for 200 meters, were built during the Western Qin, North Wei, Sui, Tang, and Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties (between the 3rd and 18th centuries). then you will take a Lanzhou city tour, visit the first bridge of the Yellow River, it is the first highway bridge in the ancient Yellow River, also the second city steel bridge in China. Yellow River’s Mother Statue, the sculpture comprises a mother and a baby, the mother with long hair, slim figure, lying on the undulating water looking happy and kind. Resting on her breast is a small child smiling naively. Waterwheel park, which is an ancient irrigation tool. The garden covers an area of 1.45 hectares (3.58 acres) and is comprised of two waterwheels, a cofferdam, the recreation area and a water mill house.

ZhangyeDunhuang Y667 (23:33-06:31+1)- Matisi Temple
Hotel breakfast, take you to visit the Grand Buddha Temple. which is the important place of the Silk Road. This temple is situated in the south street of Zhangye County Government in Zhangye. It’s a 9-story building and 32.8 meters tall. The body is made of wood with pavilion-styled eaves. Mounting to the top, you can have an overall view of the surrounding cities. Thereafter, we are going to the next stop Matisi Temple, which was built in Jin Dynasty. The temple is located at the foot of Linsong Mountain with charming landscape and cut between the cliffs, it was named by the court as “Puguang Temple” in the 14th year of yongle Period in Ming Dynasty. It houses a saddle and one dragon gown given by some emperor in Qing Dynasty. After that, you will be transferred to the train station to take the overnight train to Dunhuang.

Day 5
Dunhuang- Echoing-Sand Moutain and Crescent Lake
In the early morning, arrive at Dunhuang, transfer you to the hotel check in. And take you to visit Mogao Caves, also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the great artistic and religious wonders of the world and it is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. Then visit the Echoing Sand Mountain and Crescent Lake. Echoing-Sand Mountain or “Mingsha Mountain” is one of the Four Great Singing Sands of China. The mountain stretches for 40km in length and 20km in width respectively, with the highest point reaching 250m. When there is wild wind, the sands will be blown up and make loud sound, hence the name. Surrounded by the Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Lake, is named after its crescent-like shape. According to historical record, the lake has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand; it is really a geological wonder.In the evening, stroll around the Shazhou Night Market, the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night.
