Twos Days Dunhuang Tour

Our nice guide and driver will meet you in the hotel at 8:00 and head to visit the UNESCO Mogao Grottoes(4hrs visiting at least),which is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. We will enjoy the digital movies for 40mins first. It will take 20mins to the grottoes by shuttle bus. The professional guide will give you the detailed and interesting introduction on the history, painting style,Buddhism culture with the visiting to 8-10grottoes.

Lunch will be arranged in the local restaurant. Afterwords we are going to visit Echoing Sand Mountaion&Crescent Lake(4hrs visiting at least).You can experience Camel riding as the Silk Road Caravan in the next two hrs in the vast desert. Then enjoy the pleasant walking around the Crescent Lake,which has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand; it is really a geological wonder.
After dinner we would stroll around the Shazhou Night Market, the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night.

After breakfast, drive to visit the Yang Pass,Jade Gate Pass(3hrs visiting).Yang Pass is an important external traffic and military place in ancient China.Visit the Yangguan Museum first then take the battery or donkey cart to visit the ancient business Yanguan road and Yangguan Beacon Ruins.Han dynasty set the two pass,the other one is Jade Gate Pass, which both are the vital pass for the traffic towards the Western Region of ancient China. Jade Gate Pass named because of the jade imported to Central Plains from Western Region of ancient China.

Lunch at local restaurant then visit Yadan National Geological Park(3hrs visiting).It is a geological relic formed by wind erosion.Being a outdoor shooting site filmed many advertisements and movies.Park is only allowed to take the park bus to enjoy four unified attractions, and each attraction have cordon, not allowed to cross. If you want to visit the depths of the Yadan landscape,pay extra for SUV at the third attraction to the depths,which four people a car.
