Xinjiang Geological and Minerals Exhibition Hall

 Located on Youhao road, Urumqi, the exhibition hall was built in 1984. With a ground area of 3700 square meters, it’s one of the biggest geological and minerals exhibition hall in china, only inferior to that in Beijing. There are two halls on different subjects, one is the exhibition of the mineral deposits in Xinjiang, another is the exhibition of geology and minerals and the collected specimens, models and pictures are nearly 10 thousand pieces. The contents of these exhibitions include three parts, the mineral deposits in Xinjiang and popular geological knowledge, exploitation and using of mineral resources, and geology.
